Bead Bag

🧡 Bead Bag 🧡 I have a slight obsession with water beads, I am not ashamed to admit it! Non-toxic water beads are magical, they start out smaller than a grain of rice and after soaking for 5 or more hours end up squishy and marble-sized, they are typically used for sensory play for older children. Of course, these are choking hazards 🙊 for littles, but you can still incorporate them into some fun sensory play with just a gallon bag and tape! Grow your water beads (see my Amazon store under “play essentials” for these beads), and place some in a gallon sized ziplock bag. You can do this dry, as in just the water beads, or you can add water to the bag as well. When they are in water they look like little watercolor droplets, when they are not they reflect light beautifully!
Place the bag in front of baby during tummy time, taped down if you would like. Baby can pat and squish away and watch these colorful beads move! These beads last a long time and the bag on Amazon will last you ages, probably long enough for baby to grow up into a toddler that can play with these beads in a sensory bin.

Always supervise closely, and discontinue this activity if baby is biting the bag. If you have a little biter you can use these water beads in an empty water bottle for shaking and observing!

Have you tried water beads with your little?
