Magazine Cards

Magazine Cards 📮 Do you need a way to use up your old magazines or catalogs? This easy hack is fun for your baby and practically free! 🙌🏼 With just tape and cutouts from your magazines, you can create cards for baby to begin to identify people or objects.

My 14 month old keeps wanting me to bring these out to play--they are so simple but have gotten a lot of use. 💕 I found pictures of adults, children, and babies, and she loves to look at them, ask us what is on each card, and put them in and remove them from containers.
If you have a laminating machine, use that, but if not cut out pictures then place them between two pieces of packing tape. ✂️ If baby is likely to put them in her mouth, or you have larger photos, overlap a few pieces of tape, place the picture down, then cover it with more tape. You can also place pictures back-to-back to make the cards double-sided.

If any corners are sharp use your scissors to round them. Place all the cards in an empty container and baby can have fun removing them and replacing them. 🗳 These are also great for tummy time for younger babies--place a couple in front of baby in the floor or prop them up. .
